Seattle bassist Ross Gilliland performs regularly on modern and baroque bass, serving as Principal Bass with the North Corner Chamber Orchestra, Seattle Modern Orchestra, Northwest Symphony Orchestra, and Saratoga Chamber Orchestra, and actively freelancing in theater and studio sessions, recording soundtracks for films, video games, and other “attractions”. A Madison native and long-time performer at Token Creek, he also performs locally with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society, and the Madison Bach Musicians. Mr. Gilliland holds undergraduate degrees in music and physics and a master’s degree in public policy.
