James Maddalena
Baritone James Maddalena gained international recognition for his portrayal of Richard Nixon in John Adams' Nixon in China and his role as The Captain in Adam's The Death of Klinghoffer. He has performed with opera companies in New York, Houston, San Francisco, Atlanta, St. Louis, Brussels, the Netherlands, and Lyons. In Madison he was heard recently as Sharpless in Madame Butterfly, and also appeared as soloist in John Harbison's Four Psalms.
